Students participate in a variety of activities that are designed to give support in several developmental areas at the same time. For example, your child(ren) may participate in a mock election. They grow cognitively by learning about current events and politics; they grow socially by listening to each other’s perspective, taking turns to brainstorm ideas, cooperating to develop a platform; and they grow emotionally by experiencing the satisfaction of completing a task and the excitement that comes from being part of a group.
